Florence and the Machine unveil short film

MUSIC band Florence and the Machine has released a short film titled The Odyssey, which lead singer Florence Welch has described as the "finale of a very personal project".
The 47-minute film, according to Pitchfork, is a collage woven together from a series of visuals directed by Vincent Haycock for songs such as What Kind Of Man, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, St. Jude, Ship To Wreck, Queen Of Peace, and Delilah, from the album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
Welch added in a statement that the project emerged from a conversation she had with Haycock in the Chateau Marmont about a year and a half ago while she was writing How Big How Blue How Beautiful.
"I was talking to him about the record and the car crash of a relationship break up I was going through. The highs and the lows of love and performance, how out of control I felt, the purgatory of heartbreak, and how I was trying to change and trying to be free. And we decided we would re-tell this story in full."
The film also contains new connecting scenes and a new final chapter, set to Third Eye.
