Polo Ralph Lauren unveils US Olympic and Paralympic ceremony uniforms

THE Olympic Committee and Polo Ralph Lauren have revealed the US team uniforms for the closing ceremony for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The uniforms feature a Pony-emblazoned button-down shirt, a striped t-shirt and a pair of chino shorts -- all in a choice of red, white or blue. Classic boat shoes, plus striped bracelets and belts finish off the look. The result, describes the committee, is "crisp, sporty and classic, and features an all-American palette of red, white and blue."
For the closing ceremony, each participating country will have its own identifiable uniform, created by a home-grown brand. Designers include Stella McCartney (in collaboration with Adidas) for Great Britain, Lacoste for France and H&M for Sweden.
The 2016 Olympics and Paralympic Games will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from August 5 through 21. — AFP Relaxnews
