Najib, Zahid head to interior parts of Sarawak to meet the people

    MIRI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi headed to the interior parts of Sarawak to meet the people ahead of the 11th Sarawak state election.
    Najib left to Lawas, 260km from here and Telang Usan, about 130km from here where the majority of the people are Orang Ulu.
    The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet the people in Lambir, about 30km from here, where Melanau form a majority of the voters in the constituency.
    Meanwhile, Zahid headed to Long Lama in Mulu, 140km from here which has a majority of Orang Ulu voters and proceeds to Bekenu, about 50km from here to meet the voters there who are mainly Malays/Melanau. — Bernama
