On the horizon

FOR Spring/Summer 2016, MISCHA takes us full circle, paying tribute to designer, Michelle Lai's passion for Japan and its cultural heritage.
Inspired by the land of the rising sun, the Horizon Collection features the traditional Seigaiha wave pattern merged with the brand's signature hexagon print.
The Seigaiha pattern represents the vast blue ocean waves; the current of changing tides, juxtaposed against the MISCHA hexagon print, representing longevity and timelessness.
It is a reminder that change is the only constant in life.
The Horizon Collection features sky hues inspired by the different times of the day.
Shimoda is named after the starry night sky above the seaside town of Shimoda.
The different shades of blue represent the meeting of the sky and expansive ocean. Aoyama is reminiscent of the blush of the sunset sky.
Fuji celebrates the sunrise of a new day full of possibilities over picturesque Mount Fuji. In addition, the carry forward colours include Classic Red, Classic Black and Champagne. The Collection introduces a new style; the Mari Crossbody, a revamped Shopper Tote with a full zip closure and back by popular demand, the Overnighter. Favourites include the Jet Set Tote, Mini Bucket Bag, Travel Clutch and Mini CDG Pouch.
