Sex slave to stepfather for six years, teenager lodges police report

ALOR STAR: After being her stepfather's sex slave for almost six years, a 14-year-old girl lodged a report at the Kulim Police Station on Thursday.
Kedah CID chief, SAC Mohd Nashir Ya said the victim lodged the report as her stepfather also threatened her with a pistol to keep quiet about it, after the last time he raped her on April 28.
Acting on the report, police then apprehended the suspect on April 29 at the scene of the rapes since his stepdaughter was nine years old, which was a house in Lunas, at 10pm.
In a follow up to the arrest, the suspect led police to a house in Kulim on April 30, at 2.10am, where six men, aged 17 to 24 years, were arrested.
"A Semi Auto Pietro Baretta pistol, which was believed to have been used to threaten her, three 9mm bullets and a black holster were found in a drum," he told a media conference here, today.
All those arrested including the main suspect, he said, had been remanded from April 30 until May 7. The main suspect has two records involving robbery and rioting.
In this regard, he said police had opened an investigation paper under Section 376 (3) of the Penal Code for incest.
He said the pistol seizure case was investigated under Section 8 of the Firearms Act (Heavier Penalty) 1971, and could be jailed up to 14 years and not less than six strokes of the cane.
"Meanwhile, those who possessed the bullets are investigated under Section 8(a) Firearms Act 1960 which provides a jail term of not more than seven years and fine of not less than RM10,000," he added. — Bernama
