RHB aims for another 100,000 mobile banking subscribers

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Banking Group aims to add over 100,000 mobile banking subscribers over the next 12 months with the launch of its revamped mobile banking app.
Executive director of group retail banking U Chen Hock said the bank has over two million internet banking users but only 300,000 are active users on mobile devices.
Speaking to reporters at the launch today, he said it hopes to get more of its internet banking users to use its RHB Now mobile banking app, by making the platform more simple, convenient, fast and seamless.
"Previously there were a little too many steps. We have now designed the flow to as few clicks as possible," he said.
Overall, the number of steps to complete a transaction on RHB Now has been reduced by 20%.
