Perak MB saddened over Sarawak copter crash

IPOH: Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir (pix) said he was saddened over the helicopter crash involving Kuala Kangsar MP Datuk Wan Mohammad Khairil Anuar Wan Ahmad and five others in Sarawak on Thursday.
" I request everyone to pray for their safety..I appreciate all efforts on the search and rescue operation conducted by the various agencies.
" I also appeal to all quarters to respect the feelings of the families and not spread false information on the incident. This is a trying and difficult time for the families, we must be sensitive to their feelings," he said in a statement today.
Earlier today, Wan Mohammad's mother Rahmah Abdullah, told the media at her home in Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar, that she was praying for his safe return.
Rahmah said she was stunned when her younger son told her that the helicopter was reported missing on Thursday evening.
Wan Mohammad was the Bukit Chandan assemblyman from 2008 until he was elected as the Kuala Kangsar MP in the 2013 general elections, after defeating PAS' Khalil Idham Abdullah and former Wanita Umno deputy chief Datuk Kamilia Ibrahim.
