Sultan of Johor posts special Mother's Day message on Facebook

PETALING JAYA: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar (pix) dedicated a Mother's Day message to the "special women" of his life in a heartfelt Facebook post.
The Sultan said he was grateful that his life was blessed with the presence of two important figures, his mother Enche Besar Hajah Khalsom Abdullah, and his wife, Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah.
He added that the two female figures have always been by his side through thick and thin to provide support.
"Today, I am thinking of the two most important and special women in my life: my mother and my wife.
"They are both exemplary people, and are very dear to me. I am grateful for their unconditional love for our family," he said in the post.
In the message, Sultan Ibrahim also called on the public to respect and cherish their mothers.
"Please always respect them and look after them well. I wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day. May Allah SWT shower his blessings upon all of you always," he said.
