ALWAYS There For You ... 7-Eleven Malaysia stays true to its motto with its new campaign – the Buncit Bear Collection. In this endeavour, the 24-hour convenience store chain partners with HOPE Worldwide Malaysia bringing hope to the underprivileged and disadvantaged communities and a chance for its customers to donate to a worthy cause and have fun altogether.
COLLECTION OF CUTE BEARS
Similar to last year’s Bolario Bear campaign, this year, the Buncit Bear Collection comes in 10 different bear characters, each representing a participating nation of the upcoming European football league. The bears are so cute and cuddly and even wear a personalised jersey. They come in individual “blind” packs, adding an element of fun and surprise for customers at redemption. For the avid collectors, there are three limited-edition Buncit Bears, so let’s get started collecting all 10 plus the exclusive three.
To begin your compilation, simply collect a programme sticker for every RM5 spent at 7-Eleven Malaysia nationwide from May 10 to July 4, 2016. Receive bonus programme stickers when you purchase any item from the preferred partner’s products list. On collecting 24 stickers, you will be entitled to redeem a Buncit Bear for free.
BRINGING HOPE
It is common practice at 7-Eleven Malaysia to include elements of corporate social responsibility in the running of its business. In this campaign, for each Buncit Bear redeemed and its image shared either on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags #FootballforHOPE #BuncitBear and #7ElevenMY, RM1 will be channelled to HOPE Worldwide Malaysia’s “Football for HOPE” programme. Under this initiative, underprivileged children will get the opportunity to participate in professional football coaching clinics.
As the Buncit Bear Collection campaign runs for eight weeks only, let’s get started on your collection, not just for fun, but for a greater cause. “We hope that this campaign will further reinforce our engagement with customers, thus further enhancing their shopping experience with us. We also listened to what our customers want and always strive to meet their needs by introducing interesting programmes and promotions such as the Buncit Bear, an extension to our previous football-related collection programme which was well received,” said 7-Eleven Malaysia CEO Gary Brown.
