Music mogul A.R Rahman visits Siti Nurhaliza at her home

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a dream come true for country's number one songstress, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin (pix), when the Indian music mogul, A. R. Rahman visited her at home recently.
Siti Nurhaliza, 36, had uploaded several pictures of her with the Oscar winner and 'Jai Ho' composer for 'Slumdog Millionaire' film, on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.
"Masya Allah... nak pengsan.. (My God... I almost fainted) My music idol was willing to come to my home. AR Rahman. My dream came true..Thank You Allah SWT," she said in both her social media accounts last night.
Rahman is in Malaysia for his live concert at the Merdeka Stadium, which was held Saturday night.
It was reported that the music mogul had mesmerised 20,000 audience members by performing his numerous hit compositions from the 1990s till his latest hit dedicated for legendary Brazillian footballer, 'Pele: Birth of a Legend'.
Siti Nurhaliza had also hinted on the possibility of working together with the composer in future and asking her fans to pray for it.
"Music legend. Insya Allah (If God's will), there will be next plan later, do pray," she said.
The pop diva had recorded and performed a song composed by Rahman entitled 'Nenje Ezhu' for the International Superstar 2015 programme by Astro, in August last year.
Rahman, 49, is a music icon, not just in India but all over the world.
He has bagged numerous international recognitions and awards including the Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). — Bernama
