ORGANIC skincare brand Esse has introduced its latest premium probiotic range, Esse Plus which features the world's first live probiotic serum.
In the Esse Plus line, prebiotics are used to selectively feed beneficial microbes at the expense of potentially pathogenic ones.
This provides a diverse and stable skin microbiome that results in improved barrier function and moisture retention.
Live probiotics and probiotic extracts actively shape the microbial populations in and on the skin, optimising skin health and slowing the ageing process to achieve firmer and fuller skin.
Also exclusive to the Esse Plus line is the Devil's Claw, a desert plant harvested from the Kalahari in Namibia. As one of the most potent inflammatory modulators in the plant kingdom, it dramatically slows the ageing process while protecting collagen and elastin.
A new extract of Kigelia (aka sausage tree) also helps to firm the skin and enhance anti-ageing effects. Esse Probiotic Serum (RM690) contains more than one billion live probiotic (Lactobacillus) microbes per millilitre, which are activated on contact with water on the skin.
Once active, they equip the skin to rectify imbalances and strengthen barrier function for a firmer and more resilient skin. It is suitable for all skin types.
The intensity serum, age-less serum, defence moistur-iser, restorative moisturiser, and eye contour cream make up the rest of the Esse Plus line which ranges from RM600 to RM990.
