Asean education ministers call on Najib

KUALA LUMPUR: A delegation of Asean education ministers today called on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak at Parliament House.
The ministers were accompanied by several representatives of education ministries in the Asean countries.
Malaysian Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid and Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh were also at the meeting.
Among the other ministers were Thailand Education Minister Dapong Ratanasuwan, Vietnam Minister of Education and Training Prof Dr Phung Xuan Nha and Singapore Acting Minister for Education (Schools) Ng Chee Meng.
The Asean ministers are in Malaysia to attend the ongoing 9th Asean Education Ministers Meeting in Petaling Jaya. — Bernama
