PETALING JAYA: The time has come for DAP to either quit from all the executive councillors posts in Selangor or call for the removal of PAS exco members.
MCA Religious Harmony Bureau chairman Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker said leaders of three parties within Barisan Nasional – MCA, MIC and Gerakan – have made it clear they will quit their ministerial post if the Syriah bill is passed.
"DAP must self reflect and ask themselves as to why they still share the same state government with PAS," he said.

He added that DAP should quit now because PAS had crossed the line by tabling the Private Member's Bill.
Ti said DAP should either demand PAS be kicked out of PKR-led Selangor or opt out as a matter of principle.
"DAP has challenged MCA and other BN component parties to quit and we have responded, now its time for DAP to step up but as usual they are playing dumb and numb," he said.
Ti, who is also MCA central committee member, said MCA, has consistently opposed the proposed amendments to the Syariah Bill but DAP has shown its hypocrisy by continuing to work with PAS in Selangor.
