Vogue releases new 60s-inspired colouring book

31 May 2016 / 08:06 H.

BRITISH Vogue has announced that Vogue is to release its second fashion-inspired colouring book, Vogue Goes Pop.
The news continues the trend for adult colouring books and follows the success of Vogue's first colouring book released last year, which featured hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the fashion magazines of the Fifties.
This time around the book takes on a Sixties theme, featuring designs inspired by the psychedelic patterns and the hippie, pretty, and iconic shapes of the decade.
"For Vogue Goes Pop I have focused on the Sixties, a decade I experienced through my sister Mary's wardrobe as she moved from Beatnik black mohair and white lipstick, to rainbow-coloured prints and piled-high hairpieces," said Iain R. Webb, an award-winning writer and Professor of Design at Kingston University, who has once again curated and designed the book.
Vogue Goes Pop will be released by Octopus Books next week. — AFP Relaxnews
