KUALA LUMPUR: Perbadanan Fidlot Nasional Sdn Bhd (NFCorp) and its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Salleh Ismail have received all documents pertaining to the Public Bank Berhad's domestic inquiry against a former employee over leak of confidential account information.
Lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, representing NFCorp, said all the 20 pages that were not enclosed previously had been provided by the bank to his clients.
He told this to reporters after the suit filed by NFCorp and Mohamad Salleh against the bank came up for mention in chambers before High Court judge Datuk John Louis O'hara today.
Muhammad Shafee said both parties also agreed to discuss to resolve the case, failing which hearing of the case, which was now part heard, would continue. He said the court had set July 29 for further case management.
Public Bank is represented by lawyer Poh Choo Hoe.
Last April 14, O' hara had allowed an application by NFCorp and Mohamad Salleh for the bank to submit all documents pertaining to the domestic inquiry to them for use in the hearing of the lawsuit.
On May 22, 2012, NFCorp, and four others, including Mohamad Salleh filed a suit against Public Bank over breach of contract to protect their bank account confidentiality. — Bernama
