Privasia aims ProcureHere at regional market

PETALING JAYA: Information technology (IT) outsourcing and consultation company Privasia Technology Bhd aims to increase its clientele within Southeast Asia via its enhanced e-procurement platform.
The platform, known as “ProcureHere”, is a centralised and automated e-procurement system that manages tenders and communications between organisations and potential vendors in one platform.
In a statement last Friday, CEO and managing director Puvanesan Subenthiran said “ProcureHere” has a track record of serving more than 50 customers with over 2,000 successful transactions since its introduction in 2001.
He said the group will be working closely with its regional partners to reach a wider group of potential customers and is hopeful that the enhanced solution would enable it to capture opportunities and grow its market share within the region.
E-procurement, together with the group’s core outsourcing and consulting (OSD) business, forms the IT segment that contributed RM46.3 million or 56.9% of group revenue. The group’s OSD segment has an outstanding order book of RM120 million as at the first quarter ended March 31, 2016 to be realised till 2020.
