KUALA LUMPUR: The wide exposure and experience in the corporate world will enable newly-appointed Second Finance Minister Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani to make substantive contributions in steering Malaysia's financial management especially in times when the nation is faced with global financial turbulence.
National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia secretary-general Datuk Seri Syed Hussien Al Habshee said Johari's corporate background would enable him to have better foresight and hindsight by virtue of his competence to
see into business realities and problems.
NCCIM pledged to work closely with Johari in getting the nation onto a path towards better financial health and resilience in these uncertain times for the benefit of businesses and by and large the citizens, he said in a statement. — Bernama
