Six-year-old girl falls to death from apartment building

PETALING JAYA: A six-year-old girl died after she fell from an apartment building at Perumahan Awam Seri Perak, Bandar Baru Sentul, today.
According to the victim's father, the child was playing at the balcony of the premises shortly before her fall.
It is understood that that victim may have fallen after stepping on a laundry basket nearby.
Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the incident was believed to have happened at 12.10am and the victim was found dead with severe head injuries.
He said the father rushed his daughter to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment but the paramedics pronounced her dead on arrival.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
