Man survives despite being shot 5 times

KUALA LUMPUR: A 40-year-old general manager survived five gunshots fired by a gunman while driving along Km3.5 of the KL-Seremban highway today.
The victim who sustained gunshot wounds to his hand, chest and neck is reported to be in stable condition at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital in Cheras.
The manager who works for a health and wellness equipment company had just minutes earlier left his house at Desa Petaling and was heading to his office in his car when two men on a motorcycle rode up to the driver's side of the vehicle before opening fire.
The motorcyclist and his pillion rider who are believed to be hired killers sped off quickly on seeing the victim's car slow down.
Several passers-by pulled over and went to the aid of the victim who managed to step out of his car.
He was seen standing and holding his bleeding neck while waiting for an ambulance.
Police said the gunman fired six shots – five that hit the victim.
Kuala Lumpur police CID chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa said police are trying to ascertain the identities of the shooter and his accomplice and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the motive for the attack.
It is learnt that the victim had lodged police reports in the past claiming he had received death threats from certain individuals, including his ex-employer over his relationship with a married woman.
