New 4G LTE service to turn YTL Communications to profitability

KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Power International Bhd is banking on the commercial launch of its new 4G LTE service to help turn its communications business to profitability.
However, YTL Corp Bhd managing director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh Sock Ping was non-committal as to when Yes, the 4G mobile brand under YTL Communications, will return to black.
Over the past five years, YTL has invested RM4 billion on Yes to bring new communications solutions and technologies.
Yes is the first mobile operator in the country to introduce voice-over-LTE capability for high definition and crystal clear calls.
