MAYBANK has added a number of new features to its e-Duit Raya to benefit the general public.
Modern duit raya
The e-service conveniently helps customers give and receive duit raya, digitally. It also cuts the use of paper (sampul duit raya) and time, hence, saves the environment.
The service also comes in handy for those unable to be with their loved ones during this festive period, especially those living far away. Simply send the amount you want by crediting into the recipient's account.
Added convenience
This year customer have more options as the service covers transfering money into accounts other than Maybank.
Maximum transfer limits are raised to RM1,000 per day and customers can send "gifts" to a maximum of 10 recipients at a time.
Those with loved ones abroad can use the "special service" during this Hari Raya period where they can send duit raya to recipients overseas' Visa cards via M2U Visa Direct.
More benefits
With more fun ways to share your festive "salam" and give duit raya, Maybank's head of community financial services Malaysia Datuk Hamirullah Boorhan adds: "We also have the Kijang Mas, where customers get to purchase the gold coin with a limited edition packaging containing a special Hari Raya motif.
In addition, we have festive promotions offering between 10% and 50% discounts at merchants." (Log on to the bank's website for the list of merchants.)
Greet and win
Maybank also launched its "Salam & Menang" contest, open to all its customers and the public.
Log on to the website to download the app and participate. Attractive prizes comprise of daily cash giveaways, weekly travel and shopping vouchers.
The end of the campaign will see 10 grand prize winners taking home RM1,000 each.
