Murdered real estate agent laid to rest

KUALA LUMPUR: Friends and relatives of slain real estate agent, Wong Siew Ling, 32, gathered at the Nirvana Memorial Centre in Sungai Besi today morning to attend her funeral service.
Present during the ceremony were Wong's husband, four children aged between two and 13 and their maid, who stayed close to the hearse during the funeral procession.
Wong's eight-year-old daughter is still in hospital after undergoing surgery in the aftermath of the shooting.
They appeared visibly emotional as they left the memorial park at the conclusion of the service at about 10.30am.
theSun observed that relatives and family members who were present for the funeral service were wearing surgical masks.
At the conclusion of the service, they were seen boarding two express buses and a couple of luxury cars bound for the Fullbow Memorial Park in Pahang where Wong's remains will be interred.
Meanwhile, when contacted, City police chief Commissioner Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh said police are doing their best in their investigations on Wong's case.
"We are investigating at the moment and we will keep the public posted with regards to any new developments in the case," he told theSun.
Wong was gunned down in broad day light as she was driving in the Taman Oug area at about 2.30pm on the first day of Hari Raya.
Two assailants on a motorcycle fired five shots at Wong's Toyota Vellfire, killing her on the spot.
She was with her five children and her maid at the time of the shooting.
Her eight-year-old daughter who was hit by a stray bullet underwent a second surgery last Thursday to remove a slug from her liver.
