Bintai Kinden unit bags RM18m electrical job

PETALING JAYA: Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd’s unit Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM17.98 million contract from Kajima (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, to undertake electrical and ELV (extra low voltage) services for the proposed construction of a logistics centre in Shah Alam.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the mechanical and electrical engineering company said the project would involve two phases and is expected to be completed by March 2018.
Bintai said the project will not have any effect on the company’s share capital, earnings and net assets for the financial year ending March 31, 2017, but is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the group.
