Double-decker bus incident under investigation: Rapid KL

KUALA LUMPUR: Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd will initiate an investigation into an incident involving a double-decker bus which got stuck under a bridge at Jalan Pudu here this morning.

In a statement, Rapid KL Operation Manager Mohd Azam Omar said during the 7.15am incident, the bus was returning to the Maluri bus depot.

He said the bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the incident and the driver was not injured.
The vehicle was brought back to the bus depot to continue with internal investigation and repair works.
Rapid Bus has also reaffirmed that they will cooperate with relevant authorities pertaining the investigation into the incident.
