JOHOR BARU: MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong (pix) said MCA has not finalised the candidates' list for Penang snap poll.
Speaking to reporters after chairing the state MCA liaison committee meeting here today, he said, it is still too early to prepare the final list since there is no announcement.
However, he added, in view of talks of a snap election, MCA will initiate planning for the list and will finalise it when an announcement is made.
He said Penang snap poll is Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's personal agenda and it is unnecessary and does not make sense.
Wee, who is the MCA GE14 steering committee chairman, said Lim should seek justice through judiciary and not through state election.
Earlier, he said, the state MCA is going to train some 50 people on public speaking within the next three months and they will be used for campaigns in the next general election in Johor.
