Kelantan education asst accountant claims trial to 14 false claim charges

KOTA BARU: An assistant accountant at the District Education office in Bachok was charged in the Sessions Court here today with submitting 14 false claims involving RM12,056.10.
Nur Azmawati Shamsuddin, 34, pleaded not guilty to committing the offences at her workplace allegedly using her husband Nor Aznizi Mohamad Noor's name, between Sept 29, 2014 and Sept 2, 2015.
Judge Ahmad Bazli Bahruddin set RM10,000 as bail with one surety and Sept 5 for re-mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Shahidah Muslimah Roslan from the Kelantan Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's Legal and Prosecution Division conducted the prosecution while the accused was unrepresented. — Bernama
