Another body of boat capsize victim found

JOHOR BARU: Another victim's body of the capsize boat incident in the waters of Pantai Batu Layar, near Sungai Rengit, Kota Tinggi was found today, bringing the death toll to 15.
Kota Tinggi Police Chief Supt Rahmat Othman said the body of the man was found by fishermen at noon, about 11km from the scene, on the fourth day of the search and rescue operation.
"The body was then taken to the Kota Tinggi Hospital," he said in a statement here today.
On Saturday night, a boat believed to be carrying 60 illegal Indonesian immigrants capsized while on its way to Batam, Indonesia.
A total of 26 men and eight women survived the incident and currently placed at the Home Ministry Setia Tropika Complex. — Bernama
