Datasonic foresees double digit growth in both top line, bottom line for FY17, FY18

    PUTRAJAYA: Datasonic Group Bhd expects to see double digit growth in net profit and revenue for its financial year ending March 31, 2017 (FY17) and 2018 (FY18), driven by its strong orderbook currently, as well as new contracts.
    "We have secured RM806 million worth of contracts in the last six months. We are targeting to secure another RM800 million jobs within the next six months," its deputy managing director Chew Ben Ben told reporters after its AGM here today.
    Chew said as of to date, the group's orderbook stood at RM1 billion.
    Last April, the group clinched a RM223.38 million contract from the Home Affairs Ministry to supply Malaysian passport documents over a five-year period, commencing Dec 1, 2016.
