Vote for everyday heroes in MyHero Award 2.0

PETALING JAYA: In the spirit of celebrating everyday heroes, the second installment of the MyHero Award 2.0 will pay tribute to local unsung heroes who have touched the lives of others.
Nominated by friends and family, 24 candidates have been shortlisted and are vying for the top spot through an online contest, where the most popular hero will be rewarded with a trophy.
The public can read all about each candidate's story and selfless contributions on Facebook and vote for their favourite candidates from now till Aug 25.
Jointly organised by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) and Nanyang Siang Pau, the award hopes to recognise individuals who have done great deeds and acknowledge their selfless contributions to society, regardless of ethnicity.
Introduced in 2013, MyHero Award is supported by the Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN) and aims to foster the spirit of unity and togetherness among the different races in Malaysia.
