Traffic disruption expected along Jalan Sultan Ismail due to road works

KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic disruption can be expected along a section of Jalan Sultan Ismail and the exit road from the SMART tunnel (heading towards Bukit Bintang) from Sunday to Wednesday due to infrastructure and road construction works at the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX).
In a statement issued here today, TRX City Sdn Bhd said the road closure will be in stages, from 12.01am to 5am, and will involve the demolition of the existing overhead pedestrian bridge and other works related to the project.
"Road users are advised to observe the safety signboards and signages to avoid any confusion," the statement said.
Among the locations affected by the road closure are the flyover from Jalan Sultan Ismail to Jalan Kampung Pandan, the exit road from the SMART tunnel to Jalan Sultan Ismail and a section of Jalan Sultan Ismail to the Bukit Bintang area. — Bernama
