9,946 ecstasy pills worth RM440,000 sent to Lahad Datu through Poslaju

LAHAD DATU: The Royal Malaysian Customs here seized 9,946 ecstasy pills on Wednesday which were sent through Poslaju from Segamat, Johor.
Sabah Customs deputy director Yunos Tahir said two men and a woman aged between 20 and 40 had also been detained to facilitate investigations.
He said the pills were packed into tiny boxes and sent in a parcel declared as "lemonade".
"The pills weighed 4kg and were worth RM440,000," he told a media conference here today.
Following the seizure, the department went to the address shown on the parcel and raided a house in Taman Muhibbah near here, said Yunos.
He said the department also seized drug paraphernalia from the house. — Bernama
