Man charged with the murder of a five year-old boy

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was today charged with the murder of a five year-old boy, who went missing on Aug 11 this year from his home in Jinjang.
Norhamid Nor Muhamad, 26, was charged with the murder of Noor Amila Edrus Norsham at about 5.30am at a car workshop at Block C, Lorong 5/16C, public housing area at Jinjang Utara, Sentul on Aug 12.
No plea was recorded from the accused.
The charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code carries a death sentence upon conviction.
Magistrate Zuhair Rosli set Oct 25 for mention and to obtain a post-mortem report.
It was reported that the boy's body was found decapitated at a hill slope at the Kemensah, waterfalls near Zoo Negara.
The boy was last seen at a surau at the Jinjang longhouse on Jalan Jinjang Utara.
