The last show

IN the recent ESMOD Fashion Graduation Show 2016, over 30 fashion design students launched two latest collections – The Cut and The Last Supper. The collections were made by two different teams and used only the best materials that perfectly represent each unique design.
While the styles of both collections, totalling over 120 trendsetting garments, were retrospective of the quirky modern era which saw celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Bjork, the late David Bowie or the late Prince adorned with their outlandish fashion sense, here, in Malaysia, the ESMOD Kuala Lumpur fashion design students drew inspiration from the world around them which translate in these idiosyncratic designs.
“What sets ESMOD Kuala Lumpur apart from the other fashion design schools in the country, besides it originating from ESMOD Paris which is one of the first fashion design schools in the world with over 170 years of experience in fashion education and one of the first to introduce pattern making in the education system, is our education structure where we offer to equip our students with this pattern making skills even in Malaysia which is an important skill to learn especially when students want to venture into the fashion design industry,” said Tan Chin Wee, ESMOD Kuala Lumpur Group Executive Director.
“The ESMOD Graduation Fashion Show 2016 is yet another testament of how our Masters Train Masters coaching approach has produced top notch graduates who can compete in the actual market place as our education system is on par with industry standards all over the world, especially with the engagement of experts who have done well in the industry to impart their knowledge to our current students,” he added.
