IN line with its 10th year anniversary, Prudential BSN Takaful (PruBSN) launched a wellness campaign called “First You”.
Dedicated to all Malaysians, the campaign aims to remind people to make time for themselves despite their busy schedules. The launch attracted over 500 PruBSN employees and agents who sweated it out in a workout session led by fitness guru Kevin Zahri. The launch was held at the rooftop of Avenue K in Kuala Lumpur.
Among those present to officiate the campaign were PruBSN c-suite personnel that included its CEO Aman Chowla, CMO Nor Azman Zainal, chief distribution officer Shahrul Azlan Shahriman and chief actuary Tan Chue Chau.
ME, MYSELF AND I
“As a Takaful provider, we want to promote the message that at PruBSN, you should always put yourself first, before others. We started the programme with our staff beforehand as we believed that they should be living testament to our company objectives. If we take at least 10% from our day to focus on ourselves, we can make a difference and help inspire the people around us,” shared Aman.
PruBSN will also be collaborating with Kevin in his fitness campaign Jom Kurus 1Malaysia (JK1M), which promotes healthy living. In the pipeline are a whole line-up of events organised by PruBSN promoting its campaign which encourages all Malaysians to focus on their personal wellbeing.

* Environmental wellness – how you relate to the global environment and create surroundings that support your best self.
* Emotional/mental wellness – thoughts and acceptance of your feelings, attitudes – resilience and self esteem.
* Intellectual wellness – having creative and stimulative activities where you can continuously learn and grow.
* Career/livelihood wellness – fulfilling work where you nurture your talents and achieve goals.
* Spiritual wellness – how you integrate your beliefs and values into action; develop sense of meaning and purpose in life.
* Financial wellness – how you understand and handle money and become prepared for financial changes.
