Daikin rewards Olympics heroes

MALAYSIA'S badminton mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying, the brand ambassadors for Daikin, who made the nation proud with their silver win at the recent Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil were today presented with additional rewards.
Chan and Goh each received RM25,000 in addition to Daikin’s Urusara 7 air conditioner worth RM5,800 and a Streamer Air Purifier worth RM1,299.
“We would like to congratulate Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying for winning the mixed doubles silver medal. You both have made the country proud,” said Group Associated (C&L) general manager Lawrence Song at a ceremony to congratulate and present the gifts to the victorious athletes held at Group Associated (C&L) Sdn Bhd head office in Petaling Jaya.
Present at the event were Daikin Regional general manager of Asia Oceania’s emerging districts Fang Yuan, Badminton Association of Malaysia general manager Lawrence Chew and Daikin Malaysia COO Ooi Cheng Suan among others. Both Chan and Goh are the first badminton players sponsored by Daikin.
