MPT offers 50% discount starting Sept 1

TAIPING: The Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) is offering a discount of 50% to settle traffic offence notices or compounds, from Sept 1 to 30.
MPT Tourism and Media Affairs chief Hanim Ramly said the discounts are not applicable for compounds and notices from the court.
She added that the discount offer was in line with the provisions under the MPT 2004 Road Transport (Parking Provision).
"The public can make their payments at the payment counter at Wisma MPT, Jalan Taming Sari, Taiping from 8.30am to 3.45pm," she said in a statement today.
