KUALA LUMPUR: Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the owner of the Johor Darul Ta'zim(JDT) football team, has handed over the pendrive alleged to have information on malpractices in the FA of Malaysia to the Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
According to the latest entry in the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook, the pendrive was handed over during Khairy's visit to Istana Bukit Pelangi today.
The post also stated that Tunku Ismail had arrived at the decision to hand over the pendrive as he did not have problems with FAM anymore and wished to focus on his team, JDT.
Besides that, during the meeting, both Tunku Ismail and Khairy had discussed among others youth development programmes and current issues surrounding football, the post said.
Tunku Ismail before this had disclosed about his possession of the pendrive containing alleged wrongdoings in the FAM, including on sale of tickets for the FA Cup final and Malaysia Cup final last season.
TMJ had claimed that the pendrive was given to him by highly-placed friends in Kuala Lumpur. – Bernama
