Cancerlink celebrates 30 years of cancer support

    PETALING JAYA: Cancerlink Foundation today was applauded for its efforts in empowering cancer patients and their families.
    Yayasan Budi Penyayang chairman Nori Abdullah recalled her late mother Tun Endon Mahmood Ambak's support to the foundation's three programmes - Sunshine Camp for Children, Seri Endon Victory Ventures Camp for Youth, and Rainbow Connection for Adults.
    Nori also commended the foundation's efforts for cancer victims and patients who battle with the disease.
    "The spirit of volunteerism can make a big difference," she said in an opening remark here during Cancerlink's 30th Anniversary.
    Currently, there are more than 100 volunteers registered.
