Police to investigate #TangkapMO1 rally happenings

KUALA LUMPUR: Police will review photos and videos taken during the unlawful "Tangkap Malaysian Official 1" rally before proceeding with the next course of action.
Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Zainol Samah (pix), when met, said he had yet to receive the full report or if any untoward incidents took place during the rally.
"We will screen through the photos and videos of today's event and will conduct investigation," he said.
Zainol added that more than 1,000 participants had gathered at Dataran Merdeka today despite the failure to obtain a permit.
Meanwhile, City police chief Commissioner Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh in a statement said the unlawful rally is being investigated under Section 124b of the Penal Code for activity detrimental to parliamentary democracy, under Section 9(5) of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 and Section 505(b) of the Penal Code.
