Penang is a happy place: Guan Eng

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (pix) said the state is a happy place as its people like to give more to the community.
He added that the good deed of those who give more to others will find it replaced with love and joy in their life.
He felt that because of this, Penang is not only cleaner, greener, safer and healthier but also a happier place.
He was speaking at the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers Penang (FMM)-OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Heritage Walk and Cycle 2016 event at Lebuh Pantai today.
The event raised RM380,000 which will be donated to 20 children's charities and other beneficiaries in the state.
Some 2,500 people took part in the event which is endorsed by the state government and supported by Penang Island City Council.
