Khir Toyo takes civil servant as second wife

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Selangor mentri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo yesterday married a civil servant Christine Zanitrah Abdullah as his second wife.
It is learnt Dr Mohamad Khir, 51, and Christine Zanitrah, 39, who converted to Islam last April, were married at an unknown location in the country.
"Mohamad Khir's second marriage was conducted in the country. Christine Zanitrah is a civil servant in Putrajaya," a source close to Dr Mohamad Khir told Bernama.
The source also sent several pictures of the couple at their wedding ceremony. Christine Zanitrah wore a dress designed by Datuk Radzuan Radziwill.
Dr Mohamad Khir married his first wife, Zaharah Kechik, in 1990 and the couple has six children, including five who are adopted. — Bernama
