Subordinate Court registrar Nuur Hafiza Yatim set the date at the prosecution's request.
DPP Wan Mohd Izzat Mohd Abdullah earlier told the court he had not yet received the relevant documents such as post-mortem, telecommunication, chemist and banking reports from the respective parties.
Bouncer Mohamad Fitri Pauzi, 29, was charged on July 15 with murdering Bill Kayong at a traffic light intersection near E-Mart Supermarket, Jalan Miri-Bintulu at 8.20am on June 21.
He faces the mandatory death sentence if convicted.
Lie Chang Loong, 39, was also charged on July 15, with abetting Mohamad Fitri, together with Chin Wui Chung, 50, and Datuk Lee Chee Kiang, who is still at large.
Meanwhile, Chin, who is Lee's personal assistant, was charged on Monday, at the magistrate's court.
The police are believed to have sought assistance from Interpol to track Lee believed to be in Australia. — Bernama
