SHAH ALAM: The police have detained three men and a woman to facilitate investigations into the killing of a single mother whose body was found in a bag last week in Klang.

The three men, including the victim's boyfriend, were picked up on Sunday and the woman, the next day.

North Klang police chief, ACP Mohd Yusoff Mamat said today, they were picked up at a hotel and internet cafe in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

He said the suspects aged between 27 and 44, tested positive for drugs, adding that initial investigations revealed the motive for the killing of the 36-year-old victim was jealousy.

"Her assailant was believed to have been high on drugs during the attack," he said.

On Aug 25, the woman's body was found in a bag. She was believed to have been punched, kicked and hit with a bottle. — Bernama
