SapuraKencana bags 5 contracts worth US$65m

    PETALING JAYA: SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd has bagged five oil and gas service contracts worth US$65.3 million (RM264 million).
    In a filing with the stock exchange, the oil and gas firm said it has been awarded a contract by Repsol Oil and Gas Malaysia Ltd, formerly known as Talisman Malaysia Ltd, for the transportation and installation of offshore facilities for BOC-BOD Pipeline Replacement Tie-In project, to be executed at Bunga Orkid Development, North-East of Peninsular Malaysia, bordering Vietnam and Thailand.
    SapuraKencana was also granted a contract by MISC Offshore Floating Terminals (L) Ltd for the provision of demobilisation of Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) ABU project which is located about 320km offshore of Kertih, Terengganu.
    The third award is for the offshore installation of LQ jacket, piles and appurtenances for Su Tu Trang Field in Vietnam.
    Meanwhile, Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd awarded SapuraKencana a transportation and installation of pipeline, substructure and topside for F12 Gas Development project located about 180km offshore of North West of Bintulu, Sarawak.
    The group also received a contract from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc for the provision of transportation and installation of offshore facilities for Guntong Pipelay project.
