Water disruption in Jln Klang to Kuala Langat resumes after midnight

KUALA LUMPUR: Temporary water supply in several areas from Jalan Klang to Kuala Langat is expected to be restored in stages after 12 midnight tonight.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Air Selangor) said in a statement today that repair works were being carried out to restore water supply which was disrupted due to the burst pipes.

The areas which were affected by the temporary disruption in water supply included Batu 4 1/2 up to Batu 7, Jalan Klang to Kuala Langat besides 11 areas in Kuala Langat including Batu 7 and 8 Sijangkang and Taman Desa, Sijangkang.

The other areas were Batu 9 Kampung Medan; Taman Desa, Sijangkang; Taman Riveria Perdana; Taman Permai, Sijangkang; Taman Sijangkang Indah; Taman Medan Indah; Jalan Kebun Bahru; Taman Perwira; Taman Sijangkang Jaya and Taman Seri Medan.

Consumers in the affected areas could refer to the handphone application "mysyabas" and the website www.syabas.com.my for information on the latest status on repair works on the burst pipes, the statement said. — Bernama
