Teenager drowns at Sungai Chiling

    PETALING JAYA: An outing with five friends turned into a tragedy when one of them drowned while they were bathing at Sungai Chiling in Hulu Selangor today.
    A Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the department received a distress call from members of the public at 12.40pm and six fire and rescue personnel were deployed from Kuala Kubu Baru fire station.
    "The victim has been identified as Mustafa Kamal Allatiff Mazlan, 18," he said in a statement today.
    It is learnt that the body of the deceased was found at 1.20pm today.
    The case has been classified as sudden death and the body has been sent to Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital for a post-mortem.
