LABUAN: A jogger stumbled upon the badly decomposed body of a woman at the foot of a hill near Kampung Sg Lada here yesterday, police said today.
Labuan Police chief Supt Adzhar Othman said the body was found among some bushes at about 7am.
No identification documents were found on the body, he said, adding that the result of an autopsy would be ready on Thursday.
He said the police had classified the case as sudden death, and appealed to anyone with information or family members with missing relatives to contact the police.
On another matter, Adzhar said police were tracking the suspects who had smashed the rear windows of four Pos Malaysia Berhad vans parked in front of the old post office in Jalan Merdeka on Sept 10 or 11.
Pos Malaysia reported that the windows had been broken with stones, causing damage estimated at RM7,200. — Bernama
