PETALING JAYA: As the Jalur Gemilang is raised in celebration of Malaysia Day, Tune Protect - Malaysia's leading digital insurance provider - contributed Tune Protect ProPA (personal accident) coverage worth RM10 million to the National Council of St John Ambulance of Malaysia.
The contribution is in recognition for St John's members, including the long-serving, for their spirit of volunteerism.
As an NGO, St John provides 60,000 volunteers and over 3.6 million man-hours to serving the community - from first aid assistance and 24-hour emergency ambulance services to operating haemodialysis centres and providing home nursing care services.
“We understand the importance of the work that the St John volunteers do for our community. They are tireless in their dedication, sometimes putting themselves in the face of danger without hesitation.
This Malaysia Day, in line with the true spirit of ‘Sehati, Sejiwa’, we wish to pay tribute to those who help to care for the health, safety and well-being of Malaysians," said Razman Hafidz Abu Zarim, Group CEO of Tune Protect.
