Storm-toppled coconut tree crushes house, two cars

KOTA BARU: A coconut tree that toppled in a storm crushed a house and two cars in a village here on Wednesday.
No one was injured in the incident that occurred at 6.45pm in Kampung Pulau Kundur here.
Kota Baru fire and rescue operations chief Senior Fire Officer II Che Mazlan Mohamed said yesterday they sent six personnel to the village.
On reaching there, they found that the tree had crashed onto a house and two vehicles, a Cherry MPV and a Honda Accord.
"We used two chainsaws to chop up the tree with the help of villagers," he told Bernama. — Bernama
