Najib opens Felda Settlers Day Celebration

MARAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak (pix) arrived here about 9.30am to open the national-level 2016 Felda Settlers' Day at the compound of Tun Razak Stadium here.
He was greeted on arrival by Pahang Menteri Besar Pahang Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Razali Razali and Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad.
At the event, the prime minister is scheduled to present the "Anugerah Keceriaan Kampung Felda" award which comes with prizes, worth RM1 million.
He will also present, among others, the "Anugerah Khidmat Bakti" to 10 former settlers for their excellent services.
More than 15,000 Felda settlers nationwide are expected at the event. — Bernama
